Gundlach Bundschu 2004 Sonoma County Block 13 Cabernet Sauvignon
|
Founded in 1858, Gundlach Bundschu Winery is a family-owned, sixth-generation producer of distinctive wines of site-specific character. The winery's 320-acre Estate Vineyard, christened Rhinefarm in 1858, is located at the crossroads of the Sonoma Valley, Carneros and Napa Valley AVAs, at the base of the Mayacamas Mountain Range.
The rich aromas and dark color of the 2004 Block 13 Cabernet Sauvignon are followed with opulent, juicy blackberry, cassis and fig flavors, laced with hickory smoke and vanilla. The broad, mouth-filling fruit is framed by silky tannins that lead to a long, plush finish. This approachable Cabernet has the balance to be enjoyed young, and the structure and complexity to continue to improve with age |

Magic Hat #9 |
Not Quite Pale Ale
A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers.
A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it. Its secret ingredient introduces a most unusual aroma which is balanced with residual sweetness.
